Hi, it’s me Blanche and my pet parent Mama Marlene. It’s also 2024, which is a new year with the same old depressing lawlessness. However, we are here to brighten your day with our picks for best in show(s) 2023, and we don’t mean dogs. We serve up part 2 of the year in non-fiction doo-doo: scintillating podcasts about real scandals, scams, slays, and such. Our hook is that the whole kit cat and kaboodle — as in, our signature true crime countdown list — showcases canines!

Whether they are wrongdoers, wrongfully accused, or simply wronged, dogs are front, center, and sideways herein. In fact, the most important takeaway is that my superior species is at the forepaw (and back porch) of all top quality audio content offerings of 2023. In other words, our roster contains individual 2023-released podcast episodes, and they still are available for your entertainment or panic attack trigger. The one inescapable aspect of them all, however, is the pup stars. They are everywhere.

Mama and me, well, we bark out part 1 of this top 10, too, and it is here. Today, we present the second go-round (as in, number 2 of 2 articles), but you might consider a visit to the first one first, because FOMO is real, and humans suffer from it. You don’t want to be the runt of your social media attention hound…
