Happy (early) National Game Show Day! In honor of June 1, here is a micro-pop quiz: Name the most buzzworthy breaking news from the inaugural Quiz Show Expo. It might be too early to crown one winner, but there is a definite contender in vintage ’80s and ’90s hit family game show Talk About™, which is amidst its surprise worldwide comeback.

For the uninitiated, here is a primer on the topic at hand. Talk About is a ticking-clock game show and companion board game that challenges two teams to name subject-specific clues within a 20 second time limit. The wide-open, word-association play pattern unveils insights into fast-talking contestants, and encourages engagement from vocal at-home audiences, as well. Classic Talk About episodes continue to air on YouTube and are available on the Buzzr (a Fremantle company) platform.
